Retreatment

Sometimes, a root canal therapy may fail and that’s when retreatment becomes necessary. Although root canal has a high rate of success, it’s possible for the infection to develop or return due to certain circumstances.

A tooth may need a root canal if its pulps or inner tissues found inside the chamber becomes diseased due to trauma. If not treated, these contaminated pulps might risk the neighboring teeth and cause dental pain and tooth loss.

Procedure
